Three Schöma locomotives at the peat works in Kongerslev. The nearest loco is Schöma N0. 3335, built in 1971. It was converted from 500mm gauge to 700mm in 1983, after it was bought from a cement works in Aalborg. The other two locos were purchased new from Schöma. This photo was taken in 1987. Since 1991, there is no longer a rail connection to the peat works. Lorries transport the peat from a tipping point on ther moors to the processing plant.

Taken in 1993, this loco was built by Pedershaab Machineworks (PM), Denmark. Although built in 1950, it is still in near original condition, except for the addition of a cab.

Another loco built by PM, photographed in 1990. In April 1998, it was exported to Latvia. Pindstrup Mosebrug have several peat works throughout the Baltics, and the loco was taken and regauged to 750mm for track laying operations at Liesallas, Latvia.

As there is no longer a rail connection to the works at Kongerslev, all the locos are transported for repairs using a tractor. By mounting a pair of road wheels under one end of the loco, and connecting it to the hydraulic gear of the tractor, it is hauled the 7km to the workshops in this manner. This principle was pioneered by another Pindstrup factory in the 1970s. The loco is No. 113 (Schöma 4962, built in 1988). Photographed in 1993
