Photo taken in 1990, on one of the temporary sidings out on the moors. A train of wooden wagons is being loaded by a Hymec excavator. Apart from the excavator, the scene could be from the 1930s. The loco history is not known for sure, but it was probably built by a Danish automobile repair shop in the 1930s. Even today, this loco, and its sister engine, are in use in the moors, where the new Schömas are too heavy, and in the words of the staff, "lack the explosive power, and acceleration of the chain driven locos"

No.305, one of the newer Schöma locos, was built in 1972. It was photographed near the transhipment point. This loco and No.304, were purchased from a cement factory, and regauged from 500mnm to 600mm.

Loco No.304 with a train of standard peat wagons, and a flat loaded with an excavator shovel. This railway is over 4km long, and connects the moors to an unloading point. The peat is then taken by lorry 100km to the processing plant at Kongerslev. Photo taken in 1996.

Loco No304 (Schöma 3336/1972), outside the primitive shed near the bog. The shed has two tracks. The point being placed inside the shed itself. At one time the shed also had track with 850mm gauge. This line was removed in the late 1960s, when the moors it served had been exausted.
