Much has been documented about the standard gauge steam locomotives still at work in the coal mines in Serbia, and at one of these, in Resavica there is also a 600mm line hauling the coal to the surface.
At Resavica Coal Mine, the 600mm colliery railway has a great deal of character. In JZ station Resavica there is the 600mm terminus, and the starting point for a workers train, which travels a distance of 2km.
Much of the railway is underground. There are diesel and battery locos here. A romainan built Unio mines diesel, and an American Westinghouse loco.
One of the locos hauling a train of manriders for the mine workers train.
An unknown battery loco outside the mine.
